No, plays the typical soft outside game that Aboriginal players tend to play without the skill they normally show.
Got onto an AFL list courtesy of his surname only and remained on the list due to it being Richmond.

Bowden had a great season in 2006, but his form over the past 6 years has been rather inconsistent and suffered an injury this year and didn't make an impact. He could be useful as a HBF but I doubt we'll pick him up in the PSD.
As for Krakouer, I can't see him play for the Swans.I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

P Bowden really struggled at the Bulldogs. Did well in his first year at Richmond playing next to his brother, but played only 3 games last year due to injury I think.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Krakouer = no good, never been any good.
P Bowden = tall defender, group him with Ryan Ferguson as a maybe.
There seems to be upside with quite a few of this year's delistees.
IMO I wouldn't be disappointed with any of L. Whitnall, P. Bowden, R. Ferguson, I. Perrie.
How about James Walker or Robbie Haddrill who were delisted by Fremantle today?

Funny how nobody ever said that Paul Chambers, Ricky Mott and Andrew Ericksen were typical of the tall, gangly unco game that white guys tend to play. Stereotyping them, would miss the point that white guys come in all shapes, sizes and styles of player, right? Not like any other race, though.
PS Bowden, Whitnall, Perrie: all not in a million years. Why create more problems with aging, none-too-fast senior players than we already have? Of the current official delistings, Pfeiffer and Watts look like the best bets.Comment

[QUOTE=SimonH;344353]Puh-lease. Can we have a little less of the racial stereotyping, thanks? Goodes, Pickett, McLeod are just some examples of a race that specialises in the 'soft outside game', yes?QUOTE]
Maybe my quote didn't come out right, I have absolutely no issue with the "soft outside game" nor did I mean that some Aboriginals can't play tough inside football.
But in Krackouer's case he couldn't or refused to get his own ball and when he finally did find himself with it, he was hopeless getting rid of it.
In order to survive in the AFL you have to be one or the other or in the case of champions both.

I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
