Apart from the scg members and ladies stands whi I imagine are heritage listed, the others should be replaced.

Great. So they still want to keep the crappy old Members and Ladies stands.
        The place is a joke.

I daresay they will want to organise it so that the stands (apart from the members and ladies) will just run continuously around the ground. They would probably do the Noble/Bradman first, then the O'Reilly. Guess I'll have to find a new spot while they are re-doing the O'Reilly

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

The time frame that they mention may be to do with an agreement with Telstra Stadium.

There is some sort of agreement in Melbourne when Telstra Dome was completed. I don't know the exact details, but it is along the lines of no stadium is to be built within 10 years that will seat more than 30,000 people.

Is it possible that there is a similar agreement and the 5-10 year timeframs cited by the SCG takes it outside of any time limitations in which the seating capacity of the SCG can be increased?
