It wasn't the doctors after all .....

... it was a computer program that kept our players fit and healthy.
Is Nathan Gibbs still a miracle worker?

Swans say goodbye to techno advantage

    Rossy Lyons stole David Missen.

After a year as head coach at St Kilda, former Swans assistant coach Ross Lyon decided he could not do without David Misson, the Swans' elite performance manager who will now be the general manager of strength and conditioning at Moorabbin.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Big European soccer clubs are the way to go for injury management. Some of the injurys that they come back from so fast are amazing.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Nothing really new in that article other than I am surprised that the system can actually convey an outcome, not just spit out data and let a group of people interpt it anyway they can.

Really does show that no matter who is in charge of medical/fitness if they can learn to trust the system it will continue to benefit us no matter who is running it.

Ohh and the article got it wrong re Dave Missen, it was his wife getting a job in Melbourne that forced his move.

It may also take a couple of years for other clubs to build up the data the Swans have collected on their players, therefore we are still a few years ahead of the other clubs.

Harry Kewell would disagree with you.

Did the program crash or something during the 07 season? I'm not so sure how reliable the system was this year considering the amount of injuries we sustained.

All they usually need is a squirt of "magic" water, preferably followed by a free kick.

The "magic" spray is so cool, it feezes where it is sprayed, so you don't feel a thing.
