...Cousins. Let's pick him up and put him in 14. Invest some time and money in him and watch him set the game alight. He could be great for Sydney. It's worth the risk.

Number 14 is my number. I'll give it someone when I think they are good enough.

With all due respect are you a comedian?
The guy has a drug addiction problem. He is 29 years of age.
He would need at least 12 months rehabilitation and treatment. Should he make a comeback (provided that the AFL hierarchy approve) he will be 30.
He will have been out of the game for the equivalent of 18 months (taking into consideration the time missed last season).
He would no doubt be physically fit but his body would be more susceptible to injury (as was evidenced when he tore his hamstring in one of the last games of the season)
With the low profile of Sydney life (viz; recognition of AFL players) coupled with the prolific nightclub drug scene the temptation would be very great.
From a football purist sense it would be great to have a player of Cousins caliber playing for Sydney, but from a realists point it's not worth the risk.Comment

How about this one - Denis? From the picture he looks about 15 so we might have to wait another couple of years yet.

Don't give him a number like 14 with a straight white line on it. He'll end up like a dog chasing his tail - or Ben Matthews making a decision.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment
