2008 Membership

Well, my 2008 membership renewal arrived in the post today...

I'm now oficially a signed up Premiership club member for 2008!

Yeah I always get the Premiership Club.

The umbrella and scarf from the first two years are still going strong, plus I had a stress free ride to tickets for our two Grand Finals (including cheap airfares and hotel bookings thanks to booking early), so I can't complain too much about the cost in the end.

I was a little disappointed that despite a bit of talk from the Swans marketing department during the year, there was no discount or reward for long time members. I got a little mail merge "You will be a 15 year member if you renew" but nothing that suggested they intended on rewarding it! Oh well, I guess they realise that I am a sucker and would pay whatever it takes anyway!

The Melbourne membership pack indicates that they loyalty program is almost ready to go but won't be up and running until next years subscriptions. That's why they are asking for people to ark up if their member since dates are wrong.

Got mine.

Holy shisenhousen, now I have to pay a higher price for Young Doctor J. its damn costly for 6 games a year. Might hold off on attempting to convince Miss Doctor J to convert from the SNScum.

Oh well complaint over. Well not really a complaint, more of an observation

Smart pay are taking care of it ... I don't have to do anything.
Pity I don't get all the mail outs though.
What's the "banner" this year?

I elected the Smart Pay option. So as long as I don't need to change seats (I have the best seats at the SCG and Telstra, so why would I change) or change membership type, I do absolutely nothing and my membership automatically rolls over.
