    Another Good NSW Youngster Gone!!!

The NSW Scholarship system is going to bit the Swans on the you know what.

While the Swans should be able to nurture all the best young NSW talent with hopefully one or two or three turning into AFL players, our best NSW talent is ending up at West Coast, Collingwood and Adelaide etc.

Here is the latest on 17 year old Taylor Walker who is being described as in the Jonathan Brown mould we have missed out on.

    Adelaide's teen talent to burn

ONE is a Nathan van Berlo wannabe who is viewed as the long-term replacement for Jason Torney. The other is an raw-boned teenager who is modelling his game on Brisbane Lions star Jonathan Brown...

As long as our best NSW talent is ending up on an AFL list then I'm okay with it. That's the point of the whole thing. I doubt the Swans would have had the room to take every kid that has been apprenticed.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
