Explosive pace but maybe an endurance question mark, hard at it, likes to tuck the ball under the arm, run and carry, long penetrating kick...

Never seen this bloke play but those attributes sound reminiscent of a fairly recently retired and highly regarded Swan (who was also a personal favourite of mine).

That's why Stewie was at the draft,he;s a pretty solid lad why not give him a crack straight away.He is very quick on what i have seen.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Weaver on BigFooty had this to say about him:

          32. Kangaroos - Patty Veszpremi

You have to like Patty-V ? or give up on life. He plays football the way you mistakenly think that you would if you were in the AFL. He goes flat-chat all the time. He accelerates when he is going towards a pack, away from a pack, towards the oranges at quarter time. Everything is turned up to 11. He is perhaps a little too solid, and the all-action style might hide a lack of pace. He can play pockets forward or back but maybe not midfield. No club has ever recruited a bloke because he plays with charisma, but it is the only way to describe the Prez - charismatic. In a fair world he'd get drafted ? and by your team.
Interestingly, though, Weaver had him being drafted after the Swans' 2nd pick.

Even though the Swans might have taken him at the top of his market value, and there could be strong arguments that we should have just nabbed Rance and hoped Veszpremi might have slipped to 26, it's a guy like this that we need. A smaller Goodesie-style, who-knows-what-will-happen-next player who busts lines and does unexpected things that make people gasp. A real crowd favourite. Sydney is at graver risk than most teams, of being too formulaic and predictable on the park; blokes like Veszpremi apparently is, can shake us up a bit.

              Sounds like Nick Davis.

Actually, sounds like the opposite of Nick Davis. (Except for the 'you have to love him' bit; of course you do.)

Sounds similar but just a little different

You have to like Nicky-D...or give up on life (or barrack for Collingwood, which is pretty much the same thing). He plays football the way you mistakenly think that you would if you were stuck in the forward pocket and nobody kicked it to you. He chats flat out all the time. He deccelerates when he is going towards a pack, but accelerates when he is going away from a pack, towards a KFC after the game or before training. Everything is coated in 11 herbs and spices

I can see how the parallel was drawn anyhow.

                      Nice work.

actually from his media clip, he looks just like Davis in game style

do 2 N.Davis's allow for one consistant one?

One of my two main men for this season has received the number 13 jumper.
