Vics versus the 'Dream Team' at the MCG

It's the nearest to State of Origin without it actually being SOO. The Vics will take on the best of the other states in the 150 year anniversary of aussie rules footy. I can't wait to see Judd, Goodes, Bartel and others in the same team. I'm not normally into this sort of thing, but to see the best of the best playing, I'll be trying to get tickets to the game at the MCG.

Sounds like a great game, if the best of the best do play. A one-off event could sell ~100 000 tickets easily.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

What a terrific spectacle that should be. Should be a packed MCG that day.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I don't like the idea of that format.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I eagerly await the furore that will arise when one of the players suffers an injury playing in this game (Not us hopefully!)

              Possible Swans involved?
Vic - Goodes, Hall, ROK, Malceski, Jolly, Everitt
All Stars - Kirk, CBolton, Kennelly, Barry, Davis

Hmmm... If they all play for both teams (which I know is highly unlikely) I wouldn't know who to barrack for!

Should be Victorian Clubs vs the rest. Think it works better this way for a number of reasons.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I understand your reasoning, but I couldn't help but want to see some of our players involved.
If Goodsey plays it would at least shut up those that keep on referring to him as being overrated (assuming he plays at his best).

As average as we would be these days, I really wanted to see a true Tasmanian SOO side running around just one more time.

I am sure a lot of West Aussies and South Aussies would generally feel the same way.

Should be one heck of a match though.
