Nah, if we did anything to Swantastic it would cut the number of Melbourne Storm supporters by 50%.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

And as we are friends, you wouldn't want to hurt the other one Al.

            Graham Cornes isn't happy.
Given the history of the code in SA and WA I can understand that his pov. I couldn't give a hoot really.

Cornes is never happy especially now after his Mrs made a fool of hersalf running for parliament (candidates usually have to have some idea of what their party's policys are).

The fact is it is celebrating the birth of our game which started where the MCG now stands. Not interstate rivalry.

Probably would have been better off having a proper All Stars game in that sense then.

Crap idea... Crap format.... Just crap all round....

Reminds me of the AFL scheduling a game on NYE in 1999.... WTF was that all about??? Or the "Ted Whitten Legends game".......

                    Dear AFL,

Please stop devaluing our great game with theses circus events.

                    Yours sincerely,
                    RP.

Importantly, our next game after the match is not until the following Sunday afternoon, at Telstra Stadium against the Bombers.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

I don't understand this concept of the celebration. Are we celebrating 150 years of VFL or AFL? As far as I know AFL didn't exist back then. If Vics want to celebrate it then I suggest that they organize City vs Country game and pommel each other out.

It is celebrating the birth of the game, not of a league. No-one would go to a country versus city match. Why would they?

                              Typical Sydney attitude.
