      Summed it up nicely.

2 Swans were asked the best advice they were ever given to pass on to little kids playing Auskick

Jude Bolton: "It's better to leave the ground in an ambulance than take your eyes off the ball"

Nick Davis: "It's just a game"

I'm glad my son adores him, I do too. He makes watching football fun... FUN... They are not going to war, they are not going into battle, they are going onto a football field to play a game and HE makes it fun to watch.

There are some miserable gits on this forum.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Some people forget that it's sport - it's meant to be entertaining, not a way of life.

Yep, there are some things in life that are more important than football.

            Not many, but some.

Davis is soft and fat a lazy bastard who wants everyone to kick it to him.
Got us in a GF in 1 quarter, didnt touch it during the rest of that game.
Thats Nick Davis , all about me how many can I kick
GO get it yourself , run , smother , tackle , chase , bump ,hurt, run , run run.

I have a limited amount of sympathy for your POV re Davis - I sit somewhere between you and Stella/ROK.

But 'tis not fair to say that Davis just kicked the 4 goals in that game. He was actually pretty good for most of the evening, a lot of his work in the 3rd quarter being up the ground, and he finished with over 20 possessions for the game.

There are plenty of other soft efforts of Davis' for you to direct your disappointment.

(Also questionable what his 2005 SF has to do with his 2007 rating.)

Fair enough he probably did more in that game than I said Liz.
Though my rating is based on this year & you said it plenty of other soft efforts to make an assesment on.
