    2007 Scorecard - #5 Ryan O'Keefe

Let's keep the ball rolling ... I wanna get to #37.

ARE WE DOING THE RESSIES OR JUST THE SENIORS??

(Again, on behalf of RP ...)

Tis a long off season... And whilst we have the time on our hands, let's critique each players performance in 2007.

Let's go in numerical order and each have our two cents worth on their performance for the year. Players will get changed/updated as soon as the dust settles on each players review and everyone's had their say.

Most importantly, everyone needs to give each player a rating out of 10 so we can reasonabley measure their performance... In your opinion of Course

    Rate away......
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

7/10. Not quite as consistent as 2006.

Had some really good games, particularly when Hall wasn't around so he could play more as a permanent forward. Otherwise down on previous years and his kicking remains suspect.

      6.5/10

Was good in patches, but went missing at times. He still had a pretty good year, though.

Gives and overall 6/10 and still managed to poll well in the Brownlow and win the TLM.
          I think you're 32 numbers early....unless I've missed something.

LOL, Yes, the #37 in AH's first post stuck in my mind.
            Thx for pointing it out.

Below par from the previous years, but was still OK.

will always remember my buddy's gf at her first game - 'who's number 5 - he's hot'

then proceeded to call him 'Hot Man' for the rest of the game - gold.

so 6 for the 'mad footy skillz' (i thought he covered less ground this season), and another point for the laughs derived from the above.

              7 it is then.

7/10. Not as many standout games as previous years but still a solid contributor. Suffers from the same problem as our other forwards, he is not BBBH so he is not a target. Imagine if both Pebbles and Davis were allowed to play as forwards all the time, maybe the rest of the team would then realise there are other targets up forward. [/end slight rant]

                  7.
Hope he gets more time up front too.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Poor duck-butt. The opposition coaches bloody-well found him. They pretty much shut him down. He's gotta learn to deal with that. When he did manage to get away and move forward, more often than not, his team mates were kicking the ball to blind barry.

Had some great moments, and was a very solid contributor. His kicking seemed a bit "off" this year compared to previous years.

In previous seasons, I would have scored him much higher.

7.5/10 - He never stopped trying. A strong marker and contributor though at times he fades away from the game.

                              8. Was our third highest kick getter. Tremendous effort from a "half forward flanker". Great work ethic and was slowed down a little towards the end of the year under the weight of expectation, opposition defenders and sheer exhaustion. Didn't kick as accurately as he can. Did everything Scnieder wouldn't
