    2007 Scorecard - #12 Nic Fosdike

Another week ... another set of steak knives to remove from the back ...

    Rate away ....
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Had a solid season, hard running although disposal let him down at times.

More consistent than some others in the middle.

    7/10

      7. Definitely one of our better mids. I don't have panic attack when I see him with the ball. Has stepped up in recent years when he was RWO's favourite whipping boy, nothing spectacular, but a consitent player. I must admit I have a bias for Fearless. Hopefully McVeigh can become at least as good as Nic.

7/10 love fearless fosdike. Has really become a solid player off the bench getting 20 disposals.

        didn't disappoint this year.

Tries very hard to make up for his lack of natural talent. Can go missing at times, but overall his season was decent.

7/10 suffers from lack of game time, but still a consistent season.mchack will never be anywhere as good as fosy

Fossie is one of the cleverest handlers of the ball near the boundary I can remember..he has a great knack of both keeping the ball in bounds, getting round his man and disposing of it efficiently under pressure. He does not find a lot of open space ball, but disposes well..I don't agree with those who believe he lacks skill. His 05 grand final was awesome!

                  Fozzie ... good old Fozzie.
Went missing at times (just like everyone else), but played a solid season.

8/10. 7 for the reasons already stated here and one for bias. Was consistently in our best players and more often than not had 20 or more posessions in each game.

Fosdike has been the hardest player to rate so far. Solid season mainly off the bench. But is this enough? Probably not.

I don't think he is considered by opposing coaches as a damaging player. As such is often let run without an opponent. This then allow him to gather a number of uncontested handball receives or loose ball gets.

His disposal is OK and does keep running. Expect more of the same for 2008 because he already give all he's got.

                        Cheers

7/10 - Solid and fairly consistent contribution from the midfielder despite several quiet patches this season. Statistically it's his best season averaging 17.6 disposals.
