    Who should get #11?

Well, now that the "who gets #14?" thread is dead for a few seasons, who gts 11?

I reckon they will "retire" this for 5 years as well. So in 2010/11 it will be given to a rookie.

I mean, Peter Bedford had it, Mark Browning had it then Maxfield. It deserves hero status too doesn't it?

BTW Bob Pratt wore number 11 for his first 3 seasons as well.

Guernsey presentation night is usually in early February I believe.

I vote for Veszpremi as well.

I guess that's the point. Almost every jumper at every club has a rich history, trying to make it of mythical proportions as with number 14 at the Swans is doing a grave dis-service to many other players.

Aren't the numbers allocated well before that though?? I seem to remember this happened last year.

While I understand your sentiments goswannie, the club has hardly made it into some sort of mythical bestowed honour.

They have given it a few years off and now have decided to pass it onto a young player, who on the face of it looks to significantly meet most of the requirements the club would like to see running around in number 14.

Yeah they are, the drafted players actually get to choose their numbers. Rookies are allocated a number.
