    2007 Scorecard - #20 Luke Ablett

He's one of my favourite players. But like so many of his team mates had an average year. I wish Roos would allow him to get the ball and just kick it long, he has a great booming kick. However, back to season 07, not as good as it could have been. 6/10.

        4.5/10.

Injuries didn't help but was well below this year. Next year will be telling.

          3/10.

Offers very little to our midfield. Not a fan, and never have been.

            I second Pluggers thoughts.

                Kick it to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I'll never forgive him for kicking it to disgraced ex-west coast eagles fallen star ben cousins in the 2005 granny, thereby affording him the all-time claim of "I kicked a goal in the granny".

Aside from that, I pretty much always @@@@ myself anytime he gets the ball in his hands. His disposal rate is fantastic ... if we were counting how many times you can kick it to the opposition. He tries so hard to get the ball (and does quite a lot), it's what he does with it that lets him down.

Not one of my faves, although I have been known to cheer loudest when he does something right ('cause it's such a friggin shock!!).

Just average. Gives us little in offence and his defence is mixed. 3/10.

I like Noggy,he is by far and away the best out of the Abletts, when it comes to a set game plan.5/10 this score does not reflect my over all opinion of Noggy but only based on this years performance and injurys.

No one else seems to rate anyone who does their job and doesn't look flashy. Ablett is a guy who doesn't have the freedom of a Fosdoke to do whatever he likes and pick up 25 easy kicks. He is a worker that often cuts out a dangerous opponent, so for me I rate him a 7/10. (gets beaten sometimes but offers plenty)
