    How Goodes Defied His Demons

    How Goodes Defied his Demons

DUAL Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes knew he had to face his personal demons when he deliberately cannoned into Melbourne's Simon Godfrey behind play at the SCG.
Interesting article about the Simon Godfrey incident and how Goodes turned his form around. Hopefully, he'll continue next season in the same form as the last half of the season as a result of his reflection.

    I was just reading that.
Good to see he's sorted his issues out.

Should we jump on him now for another Charlie??

Good to see journos can still write articles about nothing.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Poor post. I've read many a nothing article, but this wasn't one of them. A lot of people were questioning Adam's lack of form in the early parts of last season, and would probably be pleased to see that he was aware that something wasn't right, and he's trying to address it.

Totally agree, my thoughts were more along the line of how good it is to see a journo happy to accept his explaination and not try to liven the article up with his own imagination.

You won't see a run of six or seven games where I am playing poorly, that is for sure."
I hope we dont see a bad run of 2 games.Well done Adam for your vastly improved 2/3rds of the season.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Or god forbid do any work!

The point I was making was how orchestrated journalists have become these days. Asks a big question with no answer.

Had this been on the Swans website, I'd have said nothing.

              It wasn't.

No wonder the AFL can run the code as a dictatorial regime, when the media has nothing.

I'd like to see a journalist do their job properly as opposed to converting a press release to an article, or trolling the net for their stories.

He has made lifestyle changes, taking a lead from Roos and club co-captain Brett Kirk by meditating at least five times a week.

"It has been fantastic for me, I get a lot of good results out of it," Goodes said

OMG they're turning him into a hippy!!!!
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

That sums up my thoughts. The reader is left none the wiser as to what actually was the problem and only has platitudes from Goodes that it will never happen again. There is no "news" there.
