    Man's Work: Aussie Rules

    11pm ? 11.30pm Seven
    Wednesday 26 December 2007

This week, Ashley joins Australia's champion Aussie Rules team, the Sydney Swans where he meets his mentor and boys own hero, Nick Davis who calls in extra help from fellow Premiership stars Ryan O'Keefe and Adam Schneider. As the big match day arrives, Ashley sits down for a "last supper" with the boys, and his nerves are in tatters... a situation that is not improved when he sees which man mountain has the job of marking him all afternoon.

That one was from ages ago - sometime in the offseason just after we won the flag in 2005.

    Pretty funny in parts.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

that was the funniest piece of TV i have seen in a long time. i fell off my seat with tears running down my face when the pom said "and the fat bast**d finally found me". gold
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

That was actually quite funny! Nick was clearly enjoying himself torturing the English bloke. It reminded me a bit of that Nerds FC show on SBS. It was a pretty good advert for Aussie Rules, I reckon, to give outsiders an idea of the toughness/fitness/skill required.
