Did injury cruel his season and he will be back - or is Crouchy on the way out?
Rate away.

2/10 - Hasn't been the same since his injury, only played a handful of games and barely made an impact in the tagging role. It would be great to see him return to his tagging peak but I think 2008 might be his last season if he doesn't fully recover.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore
Pains me to say it, but i think his greatest asset, pace, has faded. His will to win,his experience and his general defensive know how will get him games this year, but it's his swansong.5/10
2/10. His best years are behind him. I think (hope, if he plays like last year) unless something drastic happens, that 2008 will be his last year in the red and white.
I was hopeful that he would announce his retirement after reaching his 200 games and therefore be remembered in far kinder terms then I fear he will be with playing on. He will (should) be under immense pressure to hold his spot next year.
Completely unfit and got flogged in the games he played. Certainly wasn't picked on form and how his appalling performances were not rewarded with a promotion to Canberra is beyond me. Another example of playing favourites and medical room blunders. Frankly for him to say he was ready to play and continue playing and declaring himself ready in such deplorable form, goes against the bloods spirit and smacks of individualism, selfishness and lack of team orientation.

0/10.
Your just one happy camper aren't you Nico, obviously Santa didnt bring you what you wanted.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...
Only eight games last year, mainly on reputation rather than form, and didn't offer much in those games.
Appeared unfit and seemed to lack his previous leg speed. With umpires directed to provide greater scrutiny of 'off the ball' holding, his tagging role is now more challenging and arguably beyond him.
If Crouch continues to struggle with injury and form a possible mid season retirement is on the cards.

Provided he has gotten over all the secret and not-so secret injuries Crouch can still have a big impact for the Swans. I'd like to see him leave the game on top so have my fingers crossed that he is fully fit because he is one tough nut and never gives up.
