I was pissed off when I was basically called a hypocrite when the person doesn't even know me. I didn't call anybody names or told them to get their facts straight at first did I?

The way they carry on, they're experts and I know nothing about Football. But I guess that's true, when I'm from Victoria and they're probably from New South Wales.

I guess, living in Mortlake where there's heaps of Geelong supporters, I wouldn't know the feeling they have towards Nathan Ablett. So I guess you can say that I'm wrong.

Don't worry about it. People on here are too precious when it comes to someone else actually knowing something that they don't. I've found it's best just to keep information to yourself and off these boards unless you're a member of the clique. Otherwise you just attract the lowly snipers. It's a shame RWO has got like this. I'm not a part of a clique.
I've watched the footy with Des a few times, met a few people here who no longer post (Robbie, Charlie etc) and have met a few others in passing.

There are some posters here who I don't agree with but am happy to accept a differing point of view.
hammo for instance generally has an opposing POV to me, but since he actually does not dig in his heals and refuse to budge at all, and is able to present his POV as a reasonable argument, I often lean towards what he is saying.

I'd argue that those who feel the 'world is against them' and that 'everyone else is a part of a clique' simply because other do not agree are themselves the ones who perhaps need to have a more open mind and learn to be able to discuss an issue rather then simply repeating the same old crappy argument over and over again.

Having said that, if that happened, then the entertainment factor of RWO would diminish a great deal

Don't let the facts get in the way of your comments. As has been said earlier, Nathan Ablett did not want to play AFL football regardless of his talent. He was talked into it, he doesn't enjoy it, he's leaving. Good on him.

I didn't see you criticising Chambers when he retired. It is no different...except for the fact that Ablett can actually play football.
