    2007 Scorecard - #34 Ryan Brabazon

    Come, come Annie, we must be fair to all.......

    Does Brabazon have what it takes? Or is he taking up a spot on the list?

    I rated him highly in the couple of pre-season games I saw him play at the start of 2006, but what has happened since?

      Had a strong year in 2007 playing in the reserves. Took out a couple of
      awards including BOG in the GF. On last years forms he has earned the
      chance at the top level and IMHO has what it takes.

      If I had to rate on reserve grade form 8/10

          I'm half with Tez and will give him 7/10 for his reserves form.

          His improvement from 2006 to 2007 was huge. There was a noticeable change in body shape and he seemed to find an extra yard of pace. As has been said, fantastic GF but he was also BOG, or close to BOG, in several other games.

          AFL potential? Not sure. He gets lots of the ball but doesn't win much of it himself (ie the hard balls in the contest) and unless he can add that to his armoury I suspect he'll find the going too tough at AFL level. I suspect he's not quick enough and doesn't have good enough disposal or vision to be an effective "outside" mid.

                  His GF performance was xcelent Was in Best players a lot. Looks very bulked up and needs to for the Seniors.
                  I think he is ready to go as a outside midfielder ball carrier. Has the smarts
                  cheers
