    2007 Scorecard - #35 Daniel Currie

We obviously didn't see much of Currie because he stayed in Melbourne for most of the year.

But for the few seconds games he did play, what do Liz and the other twos watchers think?

    Rate away.

I like him. Moves well, good hands, has a go in the contest. For a kid with some bulk still needed - showed the promise you'd hope for.

Another fan. Big lad and can take a strong grab. Hopefully ruckwork has improved however. I reckon he will get some games this year as he is physically ready.

      No rating.

If Jolley or Everitt get injured Sydney does not have may other genuine options.

Having said that, no rating as no first team games, but in the very limited school holiday football that Currie played he looked OK around the ground but his rucking was very hit and miss.

        Cheers

Agree with comments above that it is impossible to give him a rating on such limited viewing. Other than the pre-season North Sydney game I can only recall seeing him play in one game and I think it was one I arrived a bit late to.

Like his size and like the fact he doesn't seem scared of the physical contact at ruck contests - two things that were never in Erikson's favour. But impossible to predict his worth until we've seen him some more.

A question for those in the know - how long till this guy is ready for the Seniors?

The day after Everitt's retirement, or will we see him before that?
