    2007 Scorecard - #47 Simon Phillips

    Rate away ...
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Kicked bags of goals week in week out in the ressies but still couldn't crack a game in our faltering forward line.

    Mind boggling.

I'll give him 3/10 for his senior performance.

I know the ressies go great guns in their comp ... but they basically play amateurs (or at least non-professional footballers, i.e. that's all they do for a living). Scoreline margins of 200+ were not uncommon last year. The chances they had in the seniors weren't all that promising ... but then again, they're just kids!!

        Once again, time will tell.

If that statement is based on the premise that he has/had attitude problems, that although rumoured I'm unsure if they have any basis of fact, so be it.

But if you think he will struggle on footballing ability, I think you are a long way off the mark. He should have no problems meeting any non-AFL standard of football.

Had attitude problems , and built like ya 10 year old sister.
Didnt like the team rules laid on him and wanted too much to even come back home so Im told thats why he is in SA.

                  What happened to him?
He burst onto the scene with some very lively performances in the forward pocket - always against quality opposition - but after round one he just vanished off the senior scene and was never to be heard of again.

                  2/10.

1/10 - played only game and kicked a goal, built like a twig, stuck in the Reserves and was then delisted.

If only those 3 posters weren't posters against Richmond in 06, he wouldn't of lost his spot. Who knows what could of happened if he had more senior games.
