I have no problem with practice matches. But the pre-season competition is a meaningless waste of time. Just add a few more rounds to the season proper.Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

The Ansett Cup is so that the wooden spooners of the H&A season can feel special. We're normally out half way through the round one game.
The practice matches are fun ... I had a great day in Canberra last year.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
