Practice game next Friday 8th at 9am

I've heard there will be a practice game next Friday 8th - 9am on the oval out front of the SCG - the one the Swans call "Lakeside Oval"

    LOL What a time.

Even 3.30pm might have got a few kids along.

Our first real chance to see what, if any, changes there have been to the game plan.
And the man who started it all, the Schneiderman . . . . .

Apparently there is something happening inside the SCG a bit later which might draw a crowd - something called "cricket" I believe.

9am might also have been chosen because it's cooler then.

Even Sat 9am would have been better. I know we aren't talking big numbers here, but they should at least give the punters who want to go the best opportunity to go.

I'll be opening my mail at some stage on that day too.... Just PM me if you'd like to pop around and see it all happening. I'll make it a convenient time for all interested.

lol The slight difference here being that the swans originally talked about this intra-club practice match as being the 'replacement' for the NSO match. So obviously some die hards would want to go along as see how things are progressing considering the Swans are very unlikely to get a match here until Round 2.

(btw I am not wanting this for me! I am not even in NSW next weekend)

I just can't see them being anymore apathetic towards a game than this. They don't even try to win the pre-season games....
Their total disdain for a competition at this time of the year reflects in my poor attitude to these pre-season shenanigans altogether....

They'll win this one - I guarantee it! Unless it's a draw of course.

Well if it goes ahead, they'll need an aqualung and flippers the way the weather's going.

I'm keeping a keen eye on the forecast as I plan a furniture moving exercise that day - however "may" need to reschedule ...

They got some sneaky "dry weather" practice in this morning, mind. They were out at their normal time of around 8.30 this morning as my bus went past - probably the only time during the day that the rain gods were taking a wee nap.

Bugger Scott, you beat me too it.

I have heard of such things sometime in the distant past.

Sydney's having a wet season again, and I saw some guy this morning building an ark. We're beginning to flood. It has even rained on the catchment.
