Is indeed sad news.
Barry was a true Swan.
Everything he did was for the good of the club, and he was one of the very few who truly believed that Sydney was the way forward.
If it wasn't for people like Barry, South Melbourne Football Club would be just a memory, and many people, self included would be lost to the game.
