Saw Fossie wandering around during the game and he looks to have had some pretty extensive artwork done over the summer. I think Spida has started something....Buzz cuts and ink....The new, tougher Sydney Swans!

Doctor, what was your take on Brennan. Liz and I have been debating his merits for half a season now. This will have been his first genuine pre-season. Some reports said he went Ok, others were not impressed. With Mal and Thornton going down with knees (thats 5 already this pre season) does he look to be the obvious to hold down a backline position?

I thought he drifted in and out of the game a bit. I seem to recall him on 2 occasions running to take a mark, completely misjudging the flight of the ball and having it sail over his head. He did some good things too so it was a bit hard to know whether he was rusty or that was as good as it gets. It may well be a bit of both. He's certainly a trier, but we have a few of those...
