I was really impressed with what I saw of him during the game on Sunday.

It would be great if he could get a few games during the year, but maybe that's placing too much of an expectation and pressure on him.

How does everyone rate his chances of getting some games?

If Sunday wasn't a flash in the pan and he continues to play at that level, which, seeing him play in the ressies last year I've no doubt he can, I think theres a huge chance he'll debut round 1 and stay there.
How good would it be to have a rising star nominee again!

                              re craig bird

The players who impressed me the most for what I saw of the game were Craig Bird Marty Mattner and also this kid called Matt Odwyer

I hope that they all play senior level at some stage

I'm sure he'll play in seniors this year. I've got a strange feeling that the players will be more relaxed this year with a lower expectations from the public.
BTW, I hope that No 14 bandawagon has lots of wheels, because it will become larger throughout the H&A season.
