you know its a surprise that there arent more millionaire swans supporters..... after 6 years you would think we would have learnt to BET on the pre-season!
If the siren sounds in Tasmania, and the umpires don't hear it, does it make a sound?Comment

39 - Heath Grundy
42 - Paul Bevan
I think it is reasonable to assume that the starting team against St Kilda will all come from this lot.
I look at this list and only see 15 or so absolute "lockins" Even if I am optimistic including Mathews and Bevan outside that group, there is still plenty of room for a fringe player who puts in a blinder to make a late claim.
The Lions have also named a strong team, so I'm looking forward to a good game.Pay peanuts get monkeysComment

lobster boy was out for 17 after, suprise the suprise, going the tonk.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Didn't Brabazon play last week...I know he played for Queenbeyan, but I thought that was in addition. Anyway playing for Q was a pretty fair show that he wasn't going to play for the firsts. I'm a bit surprised as I thought he close top selection.
So, youngsters left with a chance of playing
Barlow
Bird
Jack
White
Moore
Grundy
Roos did state (when talking about Everitt) that everyone playing round one must play today, so two of those youngsters (at least) must play."I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005Comment
