I don't like him, but it's no good having Prostate Cancer. My father died from it. And it's no fun.

I understand why people don't like him, with his lack of respect toward women and all.

But his views on footy are second to none if you ask me.

I have met Sam Newman, and off TV he is nothing like the on air persona, he was very polite, friendly and generous. That isn't to say he is like that all of the time, but that was my impression of him.

I hope he beats it. With his fitness and fighting spirit, he should overcome it.

Can't stand the guy, but I hope he gets through it. My father has had prostate cancer but fortunately it was detected early and he was able to have the cancer removed and is completely clear now.

I think he lost half of one of his kidneys.
