And so you should get chills up your spine - it's the best and most significant mark ever taken in a Grand Final! Think of the how well history has treated Alex Jesaulenko's mark in the 1970 Grand Final. A spectacular mark for sure but Jezza had the sit on a 6 foot 5 opponent and there were only 2 of them in the contest. Leaping Leo's jumped sideways into the front of a pack of 8 players and taken what was probably a Premiership saving mark. They'll be showing it in highlight packages for as long as there's Aussie Rules football!

Ahhh yes, that moment will live with us Swans supporters forever! I was so expecting that mark to spill, and some wanker Eagle to swoop on it and steal the game from us.

No matter how many times I see it, it makes me want to cry. Beautiful moment!

I was wondering how that would have been interpreted under the 2007 rules.
              I guess we'll never know.

I love the interview which isn't on here, where Neil Cordy asks Leo:

"Did you think at any stage of punching it."

Before answering no, Leo gives a nervous laugh as if to say . . . "Oh yeah."
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

I like Tiger walking back with Leo - rubbing his own head as if to say "how @@@@ing close was that!"
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

An interesting one, Cox had given away a couple of similar ones, I think in Ruck contests, during the game (one cost them a goal I think).

The umps really put away the whistle in the last quarter, can't have been more than a couple of frees for the whole quarter.

From my view at the ground I have absolutely no memory of the last half of the last quarter, Buchanan's goal quite clear but after that nothing. A case where the mind is so focussed on what is happening the memory banks switch off I think.

That's why they call him Big Cox.
                        He's a wanker.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

With my name, I can't really comment on this.

I was there and watched that piece of play unfold from behind. I was for some reason focussed on Leo and watched him pick himself up and charge at the ball. I don't know that he was aware there was a pack as he was just so intent on the ball. I was never in doubt from the moment I saw him run at it that he would mark it. It was his come hell or high water. I can't remember many other moments in my life as I can this one. It was as though it was in slow motion and clear as a bell.......I didn't hear the siren as I was still focussed on Leo.
