    Benny Boy Cousins to Collingwood???

Is Mick Malthouse the man to help Ben Cousins back? | Herald Sun

It does seem the most logical sense to me, since Malthouse coached Cousins before at the Eagles.

Plus, I think if he does go to Collingwood, it gives us more reasons to hate the Magpies.

    Like we need more reasons.....
All it will do is make the Wobbles more powerful.
    Don't want that.

By the time disgraced ex-west coast eagles fallen star ben cousins is allowed to play football again, he'll be too old to play.

I don't want to see him go anywhere ... least of all to the wobbles.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

If he has made a full recovery I want him at the Swans.

I am a very forgiving soul (not that I have anything to forgive) lol but the thought of his skills in our midfield make me very happy!

Good luck to him wherever he lands, assuming he lands somewhere.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

            Before Scott gets in, I'll take this opportunity to make the dad joke;

He will have to come down first before landing anywhere.

What no one saw that coming? Collingwood were always going to be on the radar as far as Cousins was concerned because of Malthouse . Eddie wouldnt let an oppotunity go by to pick up one of the games best players either, despite his addiction problems, and he would also come at a reasonable price but with huge conditions placed upon him. Moustached Mick doesn't seem the type to put up with @@@@ from anyone either so he would be the perfect person to pull Cousins into line.

Someone posted on a Collingwood messageboard about seeing Cousins and Malthouse having a coffee I was surprised it took so long to make the papers. I also heard a rumour he was going to line up with the Collingwood VFL side, since he is allowed to play at state level.

I also heard that Daryn Cresswell wanted him to play for the Tassie Devils, with the Devils having a record of troublemakers I think this would have been a bad idea since they have worked on restoring the image of the team since the days of the troublemakers.

I am mixed on this, on one hand you have Cousins who is a good player, but on the other you have the off field stuff which is going to follow him to whatever team he plays for in the future. I think he should just work out his problems and give footy up.

I thought he had signed up with Port Melbourne?

Yeah I have heard that as well, apparently some have been saying that was a false report, so I am not sure if he has signed. Friday there was a report he was about to sign with the CFC reserves side..

So I guess we may not even know.

I hope he doesn't go to Port Melbourne.

He should goto Carlton, just 'cause well he'd fit right in with them and I'd just like to see what Judd would do.

He'll probably go back to West Coast, if he doesn't want to play with naughty boys.
