    Libba talks up Carlton tanking

I've never been a fan of Libba but good on him for speaking out. I hope he doesn't get crucified. Post Roosgate, hard to see the AFL continuing to keep their heads in the sand over the incentives for underperforming.

Speaking on last night's Footy Show, he said that the Carlton coaching staff didn't prepare properly, played players who didn't deserve a game, refused to make moves in the coaching box and sent key players off for surgery when they could have played.

He's such a knob, he was a knob when he was playing, and he seems to be a bigger knob as a non-player. All he's done in recent months is bad mouth the clubs he's been involved in. I can't take anything he says seriously.

I hope he enjoys coaching the his local under 15 side for the rest of his coaching career.

Good on him. Let's hope the AFL takes some serious action.

        remember his fingernails?
        Paul Kelley's face?
One thing's for sure, he will never coach now.
Doing the 'right thing' now appears to me to be a form of revenge.
Had he refused to participate in match fixing, or if he'd come out with this stuff as it was happening, then his character would have been given some credence.
Why all of a sudden does he have a case of the guilts?

          Yeah right.

You are aware that St Kilda have been been fined each of the last three seasons for salary cap offences arnt you or are you one of those that believes that Carlton are the only club to ever have done so?

Didnt the AFL promise to come down just as tough on clubs after they crucified Carlton?

Why wasnt Essendon and Ron Evans investigated over the Spotless Catering deals done over in WA?

The list is endless and goes on for ever.

The AFL created this bull@@@@ system so now they have to live with it.

For what its worth Paul Roos should have just told the corupt little @@@@@ at AFL H.O. to goan get F.

How this man is allowed to ever hold the position he does is beyond my after his past (would say more but may breach this sites rules but nothing a pm cant get past).

There has been endless talk about his comments this morning on SEN and other radio stations.

My 2 bobs worth is i believe him,why would you want to win your 4th game for the season?

If you win you dont get the priority pick,it just makes sense not to win.

IMO all clubs are capable of this, yes even the Swans.

From my memory bank i cant remember who we took when we ended up with the wooden spoons in the 90's,or maybe i just blanked it out because it was to painful.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

He is actually the Full Time coach for the Sunbury Football Club at the moment.

Maybe for a bit longer than he'd planned.

I think we got good service out of Osborne, until Lewis took him out. He was still pretty useful after that.

Was that when we passed on drafting Lyon, due to salary cap pressure?

There's no doubt Carlton are tankers. They've been doing it for about 4 years now.

It doesn't matter because their drafting has been ordinary. Gibbs isn't the best player from the 2006 draft and I don't think Kreuzer will be the best of the 2007 lot. They got shafted in the Judd deal aswell. Trading picks 3, 20 and a talented young KPP for a a star with a dodgy groin is insane.

When did they start tanking? I never noticed the difference.
