I definitely wouldn't want to be an AFL footballer.

The greater majority of the 650 or so players in the comp can manage to "live by the rules" set down by their teams, the AFL, and society in general.

These guys are getting paid a motza to play footy. Whether justified or not, part of that priviledge is to set an example.

Pissing in the window of a nightclub is not setting a good example.

In other codes, behaviour like this isn't tolerated.

The AFL have a lot of money ... maybe they should answer one of those spam emails and buy some balls.

If I did have to do it I would find somewhere out of sight as much as possible.

I'd be very surprised if the majority of those 650 players don't piss in public. If it was someone with a lesser profile, we wouldn't have heard about it.

I reckon AFL players get underpaid, given the amount of rules they have to adhere to. When you consider what others - who are the best in their field - get paid, I'm not sure that AFL footballers get paid as well as some think.

I don't believe I have either but surely it's not newsworthy. And surely that act in itself doesn't warrant suspension. Perhaps being out that late does (if there was a rule in place.)

I agree with the good Doctor. To rub him out for a game for urinating in public is OTT.

If Carlton chose to rub him out because he was out at a nightclub until 4am pissed enough to think that pissing on a window was ok - that would be a good move and setting the right example to the rest of the club.

Almost as disgusting as witnessing a girl 'take a squat' in the streets.

It's not really a bloke thing, it's a "holy crap, I have drunk an absolutely HUGE amount of liquid tonight and I either pee now - anywhere, or I pee myself"

Another thing that is totally disgusting is the state of male toilets at pubs and clubs.
