Probably. I imagine he'll get a free kick that will annoy me or have a shot on goal and I may need to vent. I'll also probably give him and Zoolander a little clap when they announce the teams too.

I wouldn't boo any player except anyone who plays for West Coast Eagles.

Hell, I used to cheer former Swans players when they were at other clubs, because I was glad to see people I recognised doing well.

Good Lawd. I thought our mob was the only ones who referred to Zoolander. Nice.

And no, I am not going to boo Schneider. Not unless he is kicking for goal.

We refer to him as Blue Steel.
I've never understood the booing of ex-players, particularly when they were traded.

With the exception of my own dear readers, I get the impression most football fans have mashed potatoes for brains.
How else do you account for their match-day antics, calls to radio talkback and, worst of all, online blogs?
Let?s start with the pea-brains who actually go to matches and criticise their own players.
Besides being derogatory towards many football supporters who do not fall into this generalisation, it does sum up a vast majority of fans.

                      Bit about!

I was only guilty when he rushed a behind.

Got a good goal as well.

I watched it at the rising sun and due to the noise couldnt hear booing but if i was there i would not have booed him. I actually went to the dogs v saints game last week and love following the progress of both schneider n dempster!
Altho i do realise it happens in footy (booing) and i can not stop it nor can any1 else so in the end its peoples choice i choose not to boo!

always liked the schneiderman and will always see him in a more favourable light than other opponents, no booing evident in the church(ill stand)

I'm in the Brewongle and didn't hear any booing for either Schneider or Dempster. I would have been disappointed if I had, as I liked both of them. I could hardly recognise Dempster - it took me a while to figure out if he was playing or not.

Not too much different when he was in the red and white. (sorry i had to take that one)

I only boo at poor umpiring decisions and acts of thuggery. But once a player changes clubs, for whatever reason, to me he's just the same as any other opposition player = fair game. So Schneider copped a lot of "weak lazy fat boy" jibes from me, and Dempster copped a gobful when comprehensively outmarked by Mick. I can't have been too bad, Ange didn't tap me on the shoulder. That's just being a compulsive barracker though, doesn't mean I will ever forget what Schneids did to the '05 prelim and Dempster's great contribution to Tadhg's goal in the Grannie.
