I attended a Swans function for junior AFL players this evening. Nick Malceski was interviewed and said the rehab period for his knee is 3 months and he is on track for a Round 8 return.

Excellent. Good to know someone has heard it from the horses mouth.

He spoke to Malceski, not Longmire.

What's the problem ... they hosed it down before the game last week.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

            Guffaw, Guffaw.

I'll be happy when he's made it through the season without any mishaps, given the doubt that surrounds this procedure.

              Longmire?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

Think I saw Jude Bolton say it was a hard ground, but couldn't have been that bad, no complaints.

Williams couldn't really blame the ground for the loss

I was thinking that...and started reminiscing about the threads that had Benny Matthews trying to decide which grocery checkout to choose. A little cameo..well done you two.

Hey, I remember that one! I think it was one of the 'what are they doing right now' threads. I liked the one about Monty, Fixter (sob!) and Schneids (sob!) heading off to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring

Back on-topic, given there is still some degree of risk involved with Eski's surgery as it's relatively untried with AFL players apart from the 1980s, I'll be happy once he's gotten through the season unscathed.
