Yeah, Caro has got a big chip on her shoulder cos her beloved tigers are so crap. But, whilst I agree that some of what she writes is tripe, I think she does have a reasonable footy brain...just think she is doing the journo thing writing the tripe cos that is, unfortunately, what sells papers these days.Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!Comment

Whatever your feelings towards her football expertise and knowledge are, I have no qualms in you expressing them, however, to state she is an ugly mole is demeaning and uncouth and I feel personal insults like these are not are not warranted. I also didn't agree with her piece but that doesn't mean I have to stoop to calling her names. Decorum and good manners go a long way.Comment

No I didn't. The point I am making is by all means have a go at her regarding football matters, but it is not nice to refer to her as an ugly mole. I am sure you wouldn't like it if your wife (if you are married) or sister, daughter, mother, close female friend were referred to as ugly moles. As I said show respect and good manners in the way that you would like to be treated.
As I stated earlier I also don't agree with her comments. I am on your side on this.Comment

I don't usually mind Caroline Wilson but I recall she wrote a story singing Demetriou's praises as AFL honcho about two years back. Today's piece was in the same vein -- she's basically an amplifier for AFL House. The idea that Roosy is some kind of bush lawyer BS-ing his way out of trouble is ridiculous and insulting.
She completely misrepresented - or misread - the tunnelling episode. It wasn't that Roos turned the fire on Archie Fraser; he just pointed out that this wasn't the way of dealing with these issue. But I thought the real story was that the St K president got double-teamed by Roos and Lyon. The fact that Lyon didn't speak out publicly in support of his president is more newsworthy than that Paul Roos defended himself.The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment

I found it interesting that we have been mainly condemned as big sliders down the league by many commentators however Wilson Walls and Lane, some of our main detractors had us finishing well down the table.
It certainly does appear that many commentators do really have a bias against us but hey that's the joy of the Swans and what has forged my undying love for them.....they all hate us Demetriou, journos umpies everyone!
Remember just because you are paranoid doen't mean they are NOT after you.
