Now the ressies are back to where they were in 03 and 04.
I can't see a return to the total domination we got so used to for quite some time.

GOOD ! Maybe with a more competitive look, this comp will prove to be a good starting point for honing skills and team work (evident with Bird, Jack & Barlow) and learning the swans style of play, for our rookies.

Was interesting talking to one of the Queenbags yesterday. He's a pretty good player, topped up for the Swans a couple of times, but at 20 I think that the AFL world has passed him by. He said that QBN were too physical for the Swans (not surprising) and belted them out of the game. He has played on Davis once before but did not this time. He said that Nick did all the team things, was a class above, and seemed to be working pretty hard. He said he thought Mathews was a bit of a @@@@@ - very negative on the field - but clearly a better footballer than ACTAFL level. He also said that the greater number of top up players really brought Sydney down a few levels.

In other ACTAFL news, it was Ainslie that beat Belconnen, Ainslie have gone on their 5 yearly spending spree and apparently have bought most of last year's Box Hill side and look to be the team to beat.

That doesn't make it any less offensive to me.

You might need a bit of Uncle Chop Chop's advice there I think.....
