Who makes way for Spida and Fossy?

I don't mind Bevan, but don't think that highly of him either. I think that his role can be filled by plenty of others, and that his disposal and decision making, under pressure, are suspect. Certainly hard at it though, which is to be commended. In all, not a fan, but would rather have him in the side than Mathews.Comment

His work last night to work back into space, take marks or spoil to releive both of Barry & C Bolton when one on one with their opponent was first rate.
At this stage it will be Everitt for Grundy with LRT playing the swingman between back and forward when required for match up purposes.

Or Laidlaw and Schmidt this year.
I see a spot for Bevan in our side as the shut down defender on the opp's quick forward and he has completed that role well so far this year along with pushing forward to be the pressure guy forward on occasions.
But he made a couple of crucial errors last night with his hands and decision making.
The good thing at present is that we have some pressure for spots with hopefully Fossie, Laidlaw and Schmidt all being ready to push for selection in the next 3 to 4 week, which means if you don't perform you will be under pressure to keep your spot.

Ted aint going anywhere, is in rare form at present playing the third man up cover option for both of our undersized key position defenders in Barry & C Bolton.

I could be his attaractive kid sister if thats your fantasy. The fact is he does make mistakes of course but its a bit rough to describe Corry as running off him after Bevos been flattened by a ruckman just as he is about to lay a tackle. Accuracy please Deadly!Bevo bandwagon driverComment

Agree with ROK here. He is going ok at the moment so I would be disappointed to see him dropped. I would guess Grundy and Bird would be the first ones out - assuming no injuries in the next few weeks. I would also expect Davis to be in our best 22 - but who knows what is going on there?Comment

You'd think Grundy would make way for Spider as has been said before, with LRT resuming back at CHB.
By the time Fosdike is avaliable, some of the young guns like Jack will need a break.
By the time malceski gets back, someone is bound to be injured.
I'd be more worried about Crouch and Matthews whispering into Roos'y ear about a recall.Comment

Bevo has been playing quite well in patches. Not sure if he and Fossie as a swap make sense. Sadly I think it may be Bird.
Grundy out for Everitt is the obvious choice to me. Who knows what Roos will do - he might surprise us and drop B2.Comment

Yep me too.
I think all of Spida, Fossie, Davis and Brennan will get in at some stage. Schmidt too when he's fit.
I don't know who will make way for them though.
When everyone's up and about, it looks like we're going to have pretty good depth. Good problem to have.Bloods
