The SCG has soul and charm. Paddington oozes character while the sterile Olympic precinct has none. But dollars will prevail over sense and unless the ground is given a major-major facelift it will always show its age.

And how many of those 63k were there because of the breast cancer pink event (insert brand name /charity) and not the footy. If the games were so big at the white elephant where is the Marn Grook Trophy? All they are after is a publicity stunt, not the game.

Until the SCG can hold more than 50,000 people there is no way our blockbusters will be moved away from Homebush Bay.

nor should they. it's in our interest that the club grows and can support more members.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Hoqw many of those at any Swans games are there because they are casual attendees & are going for a good night out; I'd say they make up over half our our 60000+ attendences at Homebush games especially. It is from these people we get new fanatics & club members.

Hell the club is evening targetting these people.

            Young Bloods Membership

Why go to a Young Liberal convention when you can be involved with the Young Bloods & meet fellow young professional & talk about yourself AND work throughout the game. Swans=hip & trendy, Young Liberals=uncool these days. (Personally I'd like to bang my drum over the heads of everyone of these Young Bloods people. But my job is to make atmosphere NOT to generate revenue for the club. )

The SCG limits these people from attending. Because they think they won't be able to get in (even though that is rubbish & there were seats everywhere against Port in the new stand).
