Rising Star Nomination

It seems to have been a very long time since a Swan won a Rising Star Nomination. Hopefully in 2008 we will get at least three and maybe even four nominees. The obvious candidates are:

1. Keiran Jack
2. Ed Barlow
3. Craig Bird
4. Jesse White, (whom I'm sure will play a senior game very soon)

& Nick Smith who must be a chance to play this year since he was elevated.

Is Laidlaw too old?

"The winner must be under the age of 21 at January 1 of that year, must not have played more than 10 games to the start of that season.."

Laidlaw would make it by 9 months

And 9 games, coincidentally. And I doubt Laidlaw will get a match this year, barring some serious injury troubles.
