    I want blood!

Forget about 'respect' for a moment, and not getting over-confident, and just imagine how sweet it'd be to smash the Eagles this weekend. I know we can't underestimate them and all that, but this is Sydney's chance to put them in their place, they're truly ripe for the picking and we must take advantage.

Yes they're undermanned and we wont be facing their best side, but I don't care about that. I want a huge Sydney win to show them that their next generation isn't good enough to challenge us, a victory that will leave some scars that the youngsters will have trouble forgetting.

If we're up by 20 at QT, I want it to be 40 at halftime, 50+ at 3/4 time etc. We have to be all over them from the start, and not go easy on them for a minute. It will teach our youngsters to have that killer instinct, and there's no better opposition to inflict it upon.

I'd just like a win without eating my heart out for most of the game.

I'm quite thirsty at the moment myself, come to think about it.

Anyone seen that ad on Fox Sports promoting the Evils? Worsfold is the last to speak saying "make no mistake, this team wants to create history" (or close to that). Well, no one doubts that for a moment - pity they created history for all the wrong reasons.

            Gee I still hate em!

I have been in Perth 4 times in the last 5 weeks. Talk about the eagles to the locals and the past 2 years and they are not proud. One taxi driver even admitted they shouldn't have won the 2006 cup - and that was before I declared I was a swans fan. The WC Evils club does not deserve any respect although I am starting to go soft on Worsfold - used to dislike him intensely but after the confirmation of the bucketing of Cousins and Kerr last year I have softened to just wanting to beat him.

Id love us to give em a good old belting but there is nothing like the tension of a nailbiter either. Im not taking anything for granted- WC no matter who they put on the park will be up for it. A comfortable win would be great, an absolute smashing would be sensational but any win would be good. A big win really could get our season going nicely, would be nice to go to Geelong next week 3-1 and looking alright

*whispers quietly* we hate you, eagles, we hate your chardonnay

have to be discreet about it...my cousin's engaged to a Weagles fan...the guy's boss is a former Eagle...thank goodness they live in Perth!!

Drug cheats? I hate that kind of ignorant bull@@@@. I don't know if you realise, but ice isn't a performance enhancing drug. It is debilitating. Cousins was impressive just running out full games. It makes me wonder how good he would have been had he NOT been on drugs.

If he was on steroids, fair enough, he's a drug cheat. He wasn't on steroids though. He wasn't on performance enhancing drugs. He was on recreational drugs. There is no way that is cheating, unless you count cheating yourself out of peak physical performance.

And it's probably unlikely the whole team was on drugs in any case...

I'm so on your side Deadly!!

As I mentioned in another thread, I want to see the Swannies rip those budgie criminals a new one.

If we win by a small margin, I'll be happy.

If we win by a large margin ... it's going to be a VERY big night.

I hope we smash 'em and get the 4 points.

I have a heap of respect and admiration for the Eagles. I am not going to let the poor behaviour of a handful (two of which the club has dumped) effect my view of Glass, Cox, Hunter, Wirra, Jones et al who play excellent footy conduct themselves well on and off the field and have given us great contests.

Did you miss that whole bit about ice being a stimulant.

Sure it screws you in the long run, I don't discount that, but because of this don't dismiss it as not a performance enhancing drug. To do so is well... dare I say ignorant bull@@@@.
