5 or 6 weeks.
1/4 of the season sounds reasonable.
How many did the Collingwood guy get a few years ago who clocked Paul Williams (can't remember who it was but he got only 1 or 2 weeks).Comment

There were two incidents regarding WIlo and Holland but according to the Pies website he only got 2 weeks. If II remember correctly, it was for the hit to the stomach and he took the early plea and challenged it, something like that to get it reduced to the two weeks.
However, the rush to the finals wasn?t all plain sailing. Holland was suspended for two weeks in round 21 for a behind the play incident involving Magpie-turned-Swan, Paul Williams. Holland was fortunate to be ousted for only two weeks, and was immediately reinstated for the Preliminary Final against Port Adelaide.Comment

Holland should have received more than 2 weeks for that punch, but according to Channel 10, that wasn't as bad as Barry Hall's incident.

I loved the reaction at the game when it was showed on replay.
You could hear a pin drop during the replay - then there was the audible groan of 44,000-odd people looking down the barrel of an eight week suspension.
The broken wrist will take at least 8-12 weeks (depending on where it's broken, how it's broken, and whether or not he needs metal.)Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

From what they were saying when he was walking down the tunnel, they heard the words broken and forward not back, which indicates that if it is indeed a forward break (and I'm no doctor) that it tends to take longer to heal. You could instantly tell how lame it went after he went into the fence. As soon as he went to move it it just dangled. The broken wrist will take at least 8-12 weeks (depending on where it's broken, how it's broken, and whether or not he needs metal.)Comment

Ahh, correct - there was a dispute regarding the evidence given in that one. They apparently dragged Willos name through the mud after his evidence was given via video link....
He was given 5 weeks on his next trip to the tribunal for a high charge which was too much for what he did (but it was deemed ok in the media as the time off was "owed" to him for the hit on Willo)He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

I don't think they can arbitrarily add things on just because they want to. If the charge is assessed on the scale, I believe they have to go with that.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
