Not sure what that has to do with observations of the game.

No I don't want 40 poss every week, although that would be nice.
I know how good he is, and I know he can be GREAT on his day. I'd like him to be more consistent. A small burst of play in a game that was already getting away from WC, does not make a game breaker to me.

Players like Judd, are usually very consistent, even on bad days they still seem to have an influence on the game.

Articles on Goodes earlier in the year reported Goodes to be in devastating form, except for a "15 min burst" where he was sensational, but missed a getable goal, and a few other pockets in previous games, I don't think he has lived up to those reports.
Judd is a receiver. Goodes is an inside player, I know which one I would rather have, and it ain't Judd.

Were you even at last night's game? Did u see the 15 minute sensational game turning break in the 2nd quarter?
The man blew the game apart!!!
Go back and read Scott's posts, he is just questioning Adam's consistency. I think it's a perfectly valid observation, and a criticism that has been around since his first season.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Judd has been one of top clearance players in the competition since he started.

Goodesy's by no means this season has been his best.
                  He's getting warmer though!

Isn't this what we've been asking for .... Blind Barry to have a spell?

You watch Goodesy (and a few others) step up a notch next week.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Goodsey at his peak is a freight train ie: unstoppable, but i agree with those who say that he tends to go MIA in some matches.

You still wouldn't trade him though would you?

You have got to be kidding. That is just so.... incorrect. I would put a lot of money on Judd getting more hard ball gets than Goodes. If any player is a receiver, it's Goodes.

I don't think that's right either. Goodes actually gets a fair number of contested possessions, but I suspect Judd gets more CP and clearances.

OK, I went a little over the top, but I was just trying to make a point. Judd is a more in-and-under player than Goodes, generally speaking.

I don't think either of them are "in-and-under". Both tend to stay on their feet rather than grapple at the bottom of packs, especially at clearances. But that doesn't mean either of them is 'outside'.

Judd is a more accomplished onballer. But then he's been playing that ruck-rover role a bit longer than Goodes. I suspect Goodes has modelled his approach somewhat on Judd. Both try to use their very good acceleration to burst through traffic with ball under arm.
