Barry needs to apologise

With everyone baying for Barrys' blood over the hit on Staker, he needs to get on the front foot and actually apologise before this goes to the match review or the tribunal.
Robert Walls during the TV coverage was talking about 6 weeks, the journalists on Offsiders are talking 8 to 12 weeks suspension and more than that they are talking about the damage to his career.
My suggestion of Barry making an apology isn't just to try and reduce his suspension but to make everyone feel a little less uncomfortable about what happened. He has done so much to clean up his image from a thug and "bad" Barry and he needs to let us all know that this was just a horrible mistake and not a return to the bad old days.

It mad hall look like a thug and i really dont understand where his mental state was at to let down his team mates fans and coaching staff eso with the upcoming matches we face.

However we have another 21 players in our team that played last nite and most of them played well without hall having much of an influence so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Davis will prob come in and if we play like we did last nite we can give the cats a run for their money!

I think an apology would be cathartic for him. I felt sorry for him at half time when I saw his face and I also felt sorry for the groggy Staker. I think most people would appreciate a sincere apology today.
