We haven't beaten the Cats at Skilled Stadium since Round 8, 1999, when we won by 41 points. Can we put the Hall saga behind us, and chalk up our first win in nine years at this venue? It should be a close game.

i think wed be worth a punt if your a betting man and can afford to take a big risk.
There are just so many players to shut down in the midfield. You also have to shut scarlett down. Im not sure how we will do it. We would have more chance at any other venue.

Hall or no Hall, it won't make much of a difference against the reigning Premiers.
I'd love to see the Swans create an upset but realistically, Geelong by 19 in a similar effort to last year's performance.

If anyone can use negative press to rev themselves up it is the swans. With all the cr@p surrounding the Barry Hall incident - I reckon they will use it to come out with more than all guns blazing. The swans fall apart when everyone thinks they are doing well. When they come under criticism - that's when they shine, especially if Brett Kirk has anything to say. I've got Cats by 25 at the moment, but that depends if Jolly will come through with his ankle. Roosy says he will, but if we're without two ruckman I think the difference might be higher.Comment

Barry Hall is featured on the back page of todays Geelong Advertiser. Very rare in the footy season that Geelong is not featured back and/or front pages on a Monday. I think Geelong are pretty happy about Barrys biffo.
