They will make an example of Barry mark my words.
Its what it deserves lets be honest.
Really feel sorry for Baz though , moment of madness has bought his reputation back to where it was years ago & has really broken the rule with his Blood Brothers , Football People and his opponents.

Depends if the QC takes along those pictures that BBB mentioned after Goodes got off.

          10 Weeks

The last 10 week stint was for Alistair Lynch's punchup in the 2004 Grand Final and I would think that the Tribunal will judge this at least as harshly. That incident didn't get anywhere near the negative publicity as this one.

If you base it on that incident, 10 weeks looks fair, perhaps even modest. Be good for us to see what life will be like without Bazza. Could be a good thing in the end.

You forget that offences in the gf will always receive double punishment, so that would mean 5 weeks.

They did a whole story on A Current Affair about BBBH.

I originally said 4 but because it's straight to the judiciary I reckon 8, but his wrist will keep him out longer.

Plus Lynch had multiple brain explosions in that game. It wasn't just one punch.

He'll get 8, but wouldn't be surprised if he gets more. Hate to see what he would have got if he broke Staker's jaw....

Was that the rule at the time?

No Matter! I think it's the perception of taking tough action that is likely to prevail. I can't imagine the tribunal not being influenced by all the negative publicity. Some of those doctors' remarks about the risk of Staker being brain damaged from the punch has to influence the tribunal. I think they are bound to make an example out this. And Bazza not playing anyway because of the wrist injury will make a lighter penalty seem too lenient. That's why I think the tribunial will tend to go for the maximum reasonable penalty.

At the ground i thought 8 immediately. That stuff just never happens on the field anymore. Now with all the media hysteria i actually think he could get 11-12 weeks.

Although none of them did any damage (except to his reputation).

You'd think Hall has to get at least 5 otherwise the MRP would have probably just gone with the 4 as per the formula.

Based on all precidents and Halls record, 6 weeks is the fair call.

6 weeks if the tribunal was taking the case on merits.
8-10 weeks if they get sucked into the hysteria and want to mkae a example of BBBBH
