Obviously the toughest game in there is Geelong. All others are winnable. North could be 50/50, especially given our form at Telstra Dome the last couple of years.Occupational hazards:
I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.Comment

Rd5 Geelong (SS) - Loss
Rd6 Kangaroos (TD) - Loss
Rd7 Bulldogs (SCG) - Win
Rd8 Essendon (ANZ) - Win
Rd9 Port Adelaide (AS) - Loss
Rd10 Richmond (SCG) - Win
Rd11 West Coast (S) - Loss
I'm only putting a loss against the Roos, because of our record at TD is all over the place and against the Roos down there, we haven't been that lucky in the past. I'll be at the match so I'm hoping it'll be a win.
Also putting a loss for PA because like the Roos the form is all over the place and well the Weagles, hell anything could happen in that match.Occupational hazards:

Ye who have VERY little faith. Basically what you are saying is that the Swans can't win on the road. For the record, the Swans' recent road record stands since Paul Roos took over as coach as:
31 wins/ 31 losses/ 1drawComment

It's all in their heads. Depends how the side reacts. We could bomb from here and lose our next 5. Anything is possible.
My money is on Baz for 8 weeks out now it has been referred direct to the tribunal. He ate more cheese, than time allowedComment

Are you an old South Melb supporter who still hasnt got use to supporting a good football team?
I'm looking at our stats at TD which hasn't been that crash hot, hence why I put the loss.
And with Port you never know how they'll play - one week they win, the next they lose, so it depends which team turns up on the day. Regarding WC, well they'll be after our blood for that game.
I have no doubt we can win those three matches on the road, but if those three opponents turn up at their best and have their full strength teams playing then we could find ourselves losing.Last edited by gossipcom; 15 April 2008, 10:04 AM.Comment

None of those games looks easy. On their current form, the Dogs are going to cause a few headaches. They've been much better at contests this year and if they even break even with us on that score, they have the footspeed and skill level to cause a few problems.
Essendon's speed, too, will test the Swans, though I think they'll cope less well than the Dogs with the pressure that the Swans will try to apply.Comment

Why do they do the draw this way now? I know it switched to this format prior to last year's season but it's silly to be playing some teams twice in the first few weeks of the season and not playing others at all until near the end. The teams we play twice are tough enough without having to start playing them a second time before we get to some of the weaker sides.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment
