    2008 Emergency Lists

    Thought I'd keep a list this year.

      Brennan, Davis and Matthews were the players left out from the extended bench for Rd 2.

      Guess that makes them the Emg.

                      Hehehehe, I'm hardly that clever. Just went back a few pages on the forum to early April, found the "v PA - Teams named" thread and voila.

                              What's the chances of Mathews getting his name on that list at LEAST 22 times?
                              The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

                                  It must be very frustrating for Ben Matthews. It reminds me a bit of what happened to Andrew Schauble back in 2005.

                                      The team is stronger without Mathews in it, unlike when Schaubs couldn't get a game but we were weaker without him (IMHO at least).

                                      If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

                                          Unfortunatly for benny and crouchy injury/lack of form/age is against them. i feel roos prefers looking to the future: barlow, grundy, jack, bird etc. however i could see crouchy possibly getting back in the side possibly for bevo

                                              Interesting watching the Emergency list grow this year.

                                              Brennan named an Emerg in all 12 games, and has played 2.
