Both Jack and Barlow were in their second year's on the rookie list when they debuted. So was Bevan.
Of other recent debutants, Laidlaw was in his second year, Schmidt in his third. Grundy I think was in his third, though someone might correct me on that.
Its interesting. Not that many years ago players would play many games in the magoos before getting a regular run in the seniors. I wonder if we are reaping the benefit now of a more cautious approach with our new players, considering we have not had 'ready made' early draft pick players at our disposal?
We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty.

I thought you were the profile guru, anyway...
I was looking at their profiles, when I was asking about them. lol
When in form youngsters get a call up into a Roos' squad.
But how great is it to see!!!
I'd like to know the last time we had this many <20 game players in the team at any one time. It would have to be a long time ago.
Great call & it's about time too - we have some good depth at the club & this is great for the team. Feel a bit sorry for Nick Davis, but I guess nobody can just "rock-up" & get a game.
No matter what - we have the best coach in the AFL. I wish I was as cool as Roosy
2005 will live forever (or until we win another premiership)

Which debut player is going to keep Hall out of team. Step back and take a deep breath.
And Everitt, and Fosdike, and Kennelly..............Malceski, based on last weeks team. Be interesting to see what the powers that be think our Best 22 looks like with those 4 available.

Hall, Kennelly, Malceski, Everitt and SCHMIDT would all be in the best 22 (IMO)....plus maybe Fosdike and Crouch when FULLY fit, so that's up 7 players out from our best 22 at the moment (not to mention the others who are injured - Thornton and Grundy). Sheesh, guess this isn't the year when we win the premiership and everyone says we just had an unbelievably good run with injuries!
