The more I read her post's, the more I think connolly is Paul Bevan's mum.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Are you a member of the Bevan family, connolly? Serious question.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Cool, I wasn't trying to be a smart arse (I was just genuinely curious) and it's great you have a favourite player.

May I ask what "and it's great you have a favourite player." means?!?

I'm not sure I can explain it any further than the question itself?

Just seems a bit of an odd thing to say to someone who isn't 10.

True, it is 11pm on a Friday night - and I have had a few jars - and I am in the process of watching Alien for the first time (I don't know how).

Anyway....I'm glad you have a favourite player too.

It's just a pity the player has very little talent or football smarts.

Thats right this is getting way too complicated. Just think Bevo has got some ticker and aIways side with the under dog. I appreciate your question but I'm probably more Manson family than Bevan family

Played really well today, only a few minor indescretions, but certainly was in everything.

I thought he was a standout, did a couple of silly things early on, but after that he was great. I hope he keeps it up. I was a doubter but he seems to be coming good.
