    Today's Result

Felt confident earlier in the week, though the more time has passed, the less confident I've become.

The more I think about the distraction Hall has cause the worse it gets. It will either galvanise the team, or distract them.

I think there will be one of 2 results today.

    1. A tight close scoring tussle decided by 2 goals either way.

    2. Or the Swannies are blown out of the water

    CARN SWANNIES!!!!!!!!!!
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

I think there are three possibilities:

    1. We win
    2. It is a draw
    3. They win

What happens will depend on who is able to put goals on the board.

I am really, really nervous now. Have gone into a cleaning frenzy again. About to wash my cats as the dog is already clean. Is this an omen...I'm giving the Cats a bath!!!!

This game could well be a 'bridge too far' after all that's happened in the last week, however, despite any form guide or how the teams look on paper, I have a feeling this one will be close.

Geelong won't forget that Nick Davis inspired semi-final loss in hurry and will be wary of a strong bloods performance. Swans won't go into this thinking that an 'honourable' loss is an acceptable result (thats for essendon).

If the bloods are close or ahead at half time then it's anyone ball game.

There are other possibilities. The match might be abandoned at half time when Cats fans storm the playing area, overwrought that GAB jnr has failed to get a single touch of the ball after being blanketed by that other SOG.

Or the Cats team might refuse to even take to the ground, scared of the meanness and naked aggression of a forward line comprising Darting Demonic Davis and Mad Marauding Magic.

Or maybe the Swans' bus will break down again halfway down the highway.

Must admit, I had not thought of that.

                  Pretty astute observation there legs!!.

What about the 4th option, Barry runs out of the crowd onto the field and takes out several Cats, before he is subdued with capsicum spray and Tazer guns, before being red carded. -> Cats win by forfeit.

I am nervous too. Want the Swans to prove we can without Bazza but I think that O'Loughlin will be held by Scarlett and they will give Davis a lot of attention.

                      what distractions?

Hall punched staker. hall got suspended...so what?
The players are professional enough not to let that effect them.

Will be a good game and we really have nothing to lose.
Haven't looked forward to a home and away much as I have this one for a long long time.

I had a bad feeling about this game prior and now without Kennelly I think we might be in for a whipping.
